Neurodevelopmental Parenting

HEALING DIFFICULT BEGINNINGS is a parenting course for those raising children who have experienced developmental trauma/adverse childhood experiences in their early years and are currently having emotional, behavioral, and/or educational challenges.

In this course, parents/caregivers will be provided emotional support, evidence-based information and practical interventions to help their child heal. This course covers the following topics:

• Understanding the impact of Developmental Trauma

• Preventing and processing reactivity in yourself

• Implementing brain-based parenting practices and interventions

• De-escalating an explosion/implosion

• Problem-solving and skill development

• Setting your child up for success at school

When: Mondays: Sept 14, 21, 28, Oct 5, 12, 19, 26, Nov 2, 2020

Time: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM


Fee: $795 (If referred by HHSA, fee is covered. I accept CalVCB if pre-approved.)
